Уильям Скотт Бруфорд
английский барабанщик, известный своим яростным, виртуозным, полиритмичным стилем игры. Он был первым барабанщиком известной британской прог-рок группы Yes. Потом он играл также в King Crimson, UK и многих других коллективах, со многими известными музыкантами, занимался сольными проектами (Bill Bruford's Earthworks и другие). В 80-е — 90-е годы XX в. много экспериментировал с электронными барабанами и перкуссией, но в итоге вернулся к обычной акустической ударной установке. В 2009 году прекратил активную концертную деятельность и студийную работу.
